The book entitled, "STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF FERROFLUID BASED PASSIVE COOLING DEVICE" is founded on investigating the performance of ferrofluid based cooling device using numerical simulation. The effect of orientation of permanent magnet with respect to heat source and number of fins on the performance of the system is evaluated. COMSOL Multiphysics software was used to carry out the simulation work with magnet placed in different orientations ranging from zero to 135 degree and with number of fins varying from 26-42. The results have been presented by drawing plots such as Nusselt number, Convective heat transfer coefficient, and fluid velocity for different such combinations.
