Study for the improvement of felling practices in a quarry

The Société de Gestion des Carrières (SOGECAR) was created for the exploitation of granite aggregate in the Yamoussoukro region in the center of Côte d'Ivoire for the completion of the northern highway by the company SOROUBAT-CI. The slaughter of the concerned massif (Duokro granite) suffers from some anomalies which have for consequences, among others, a high proportion of big blocks impossible to crush and which involves additional operating costs of fragmentation. It is with the aim of finding solutions for an improvement of the results of shooting that a study was carried out on the various parameters relating to it.

Tagro Gael Ipo ist ein Ingenieur für Bergbautechnik. Er wurde in der Elfenbeinküste geboren und absolvierte sein Studium am Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro. Er ist als Geologe und Sale Manager in der Direktion für Geologie des Ministeriums für Bergbau und Geologie der Elfenbeinküste tätig.
