Study of the quality of parts obtained in an optimized drilling process

The main objective of this work is to evaluate macro and micro quality determinants - MmdQ, (roughness, surface and sub-surface layer integrity, shape and dimensional errors, respectively) in parts obtained from the drilling process carried out under optimized process conditions and without cooling (dry cutting). The aim is also to analyze the influence that these MmdQ can have on the occurrence of possible failures in the use of the parts.
Autorentext
He has a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1999), a Master's and Doctorate in Production Engineering from UNIMEP (2002 and 2008). He is currently Professor and Coordinator of the Production Engineering course at the Piracicaba School of Engineering - EEP and Coordinator of the EEP Baja SAE Team.
