Suburban 3G communications via High Altitude Platforms

This book has written based on the noble technique High Altitude Platforms (HAPs). Possibility of providing 3G services over suburban regions through HAPs has analyzed in detail. While authenticating 3G services for HAPs, newly proposed channel models like elevation dependent channel model are considered. Finally, the book emphasizes HAPs as a suitable platform for suburban based 3G communications.

Md. Al-Mahadi Hasan received his M.Sc. from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden, and another M.Sc. with B.Sc. from East West University, Bangladesh. Currently he is doing research on High Altitude Platforms based applications. Besides, he has interest on wireless communications,antenna modeling, cognitive radio and synthetic aperture radar.
