Although there have been previous books on ethnicentrepreneurship with limited concentration on the participation ofwomen in their family businesses, only few business scholarsconsider women as key business players. This book is unique as itexplores the emerging profile of Asian women entrepreneurs in awestern context through analysis of interviews with 16 Asian womenin Australia. Asian women entrepreneurs bring together ethnicopportunities and personal characteristics to enhance theirbusiness performance. They balance western and Asian business andpersonal values.
