Successful Management of Non-profit Organizations

The research aims at revealing and describing factors stipulating successful management of non- profit projects. Review of already existing theory and concepts is being presented. In terms of practical value the research processed with interviewing the most professional project management staff of International Medical Corps, Save the Children and UNICEF. The main principle of selecting respondents was their extensive working experience and major achievements, contributed to the data significantly. Findings of the research could be especially interesting in light of present modifications international non-profit organizations undergoing in response to present challenges. The main outcomes of the research are general and specific project management directions bringing success to both international non-profit organizations themselves and groups of beneficiaries they are targeting. Another added value of the research is that reflected success factors could be replicated by country offices of international non- profit organizations.

Ms.Narmin Osmanli possesses two Master of Science degrees - one in Political Sciences from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a second one in Business Administration from the Baltic Business School of the University of Kalmar, Sweden.
