Successful Mums and Entrepreneurs

This book takes a look at the practices of seven women who have excelled in the fierce business world, without losing focus on their families, acting assertively in power struggles and contributing to the re-signification of the social role of women. Despite the historical influence of social structures on the female role, corroborated by the high rates of violence and limitation, we can see in successful women a new female identity that is reconstructing history through practices with a new vision, way of being and desires beyond the family sphere. The author invites the reader to follow the stitching of memories that weave history, explaining this phenomenon of ascension through an up-to-date and interdisciplinary study, and portraying the challenges of successfully reconciling motherhood and career.

Graduated in Law from Faculdades Unificadas de Foz do Iguaçu (2006). Master's degree in Society, Culture and Borders from UNIOESTE - State University of Western Paraná, Foz do Iguaçu campus (2017). Postgraduate student in Medical Law (in progress). She is currently a federal civil servant with the Federal Attorney General's Office.
