In the first years of the twenty first century it is possible to trace a number of ongoing changes that all related to enhanced methods for the management of supply chains. Such strategies centre on minimizing total cost of a transaction through the direct ordering and delivery process at the same time as also reinforcing processes that stimulate supply efficiencies and ultimately result in customer satisfaction. To assist progress towards more fully understanding the importance of improving how we manage supply chains we need to develop some conceptual frameworks with defined parameters. In this book I have examine how to develop and evaluate supply chain management strategies and activities. To do this from many perspectives this book has been divided into 11 chapters. This book is the result of many years of facilitating, researching, and teaching supply chain management. It is important to teach our students skills that are based in research from both the practical field and other related disciplines. To describe and explain supply chain concepts, this book uses realistic examples to help students get inside to discover the unique dynamics of supply chain management. N.S.Islam.

Nafish Sarwar Islam (Shuvro) is an Assistant Professor and Head in Charge in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering of a renowned university in Bangladesh. He has authored a number of books on Management, Engineering, and Mathematics. This book is his first idiosyncratic work in the field of Theoretical Physics.
