Surgery of dorsolumbar spine trauma:

It is certainly important to obtain a good surgical correction and a good anatomical result, but this is not enough to obtain a good quality of life at least comparable to the one before the spinal injury. Therefore, a more global, multidisciplinary approach, integrating the human dimension of the patient is likely to optimize the therapeutic choices, the understanding and the communication with the patient in order to improve his QOL.
