Sustainability of NGOs Development Projects in Chipinge, Zimbabwe

Sustainability of NGOs Development Projects in Chipinge, Zimbabwe, interrogates the development sustainability of projects implemented by NGOs in Chipinge South district of Zimbabwe. It focuses particularly on four sectors i.e. water and sanitation, agriculture and food security, income generation/micro-enterprise development and HIV and AIDS. The introductory sections of the book present background information, statement of the problem, study objectives, justification of the study, research methodology, limitations of the study and literature review. In chapters that follow, the book brings to the fore development projects implemented by NGOs and a synthesis study of the sustainability of the projects, an endeavor that seeks to establish the impact, effectiveness and efficiency of the projects. The concluding sections of the book provide overarching conclusions about sustainability of the projects and explore factors promoting and inhibiting long-term sustainability of the projects.
