Sustainability of Village Savings and Lending Groups

The lack of Banking Services in most rural areas of Zambia inspired me to research on the sustainability of the village savings and lending groups. The study proved that the groups are very sustainable and are indeed a good medium for rural dwellers to be able to access financial services from. The fact that they are managed by the members themselves and that they grow their own money makes it very safe and sustainable.

Kachulu Msiska ist von Beruf Agronom. Er erwarb 2009 einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Agrarwissenschaften mit Spezialisierung auf Pflanzenwissenschaften. Im Jahr 2016 machte er seinen Master of Arts in Friedens- und Konfliktstudien mit Spezialisierung auf Umwelt, nachhaltige Entwicklung und Frieden. Er ist mit Dr. Patricia M. Msiska verheiratet und hat 3 Söhne.
