Sustainable Development

The title of the book and the punch line is self explanatory and takes the reader to a drive where he/she will also think of giving something back to the society. While it primarily focuses on what is expected from an engineer of current times, it also questions why only engineers, meaning, students from all other streams also have some or equal responsibility in building the society and the nation, thus becoming an agent of change. The book focuses on the youth and inspires them to give something back to the society, and towards nation building. It is also addressed to university and college managements to incorporate service learning into the academic curriculum. If service to society is one of the basic obligations of every citizen, then it should be done by everyone - it should be done by myself, my family, my friends and every citizen whether young or old, male or female, rich or poor, educated or uneducated. An attempt has also been made to raise a thought among policy makers to involve NGOs for broader success.

He was instrumental in establishing RAK Medical & Health Sciences University and American University of Ras Al Khaimah.
