Sustainable Development: Goals and Strategies

The United Nations Sustainable Development Summit 2015 was a historic one as it would be always remembered for giving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the world. In next 15 years human development would be shaped globally by these goals. Today when the entire world is talking about sustainable development, it is important to understand various aspects of it. To significantly contribute to fill up the vacuum of a good useful book on the subject, the book has been published. In this book, Arnab Mandal examines why sustainable development strategy is important for SDGs and how the strategy is linked with the concept of Green Economy. Arnab Mandal is a development consultant in New Delhi, India. In January, 2012 he was invited by MIT Sloan School of Management to share ideas on Green Economy at the UN Headquarters, New York and US Congress. He visited Freie Universität Berlin, Germany as a DAAD Scholar in 2012. He was a member of the Programme Committee at ICTD 2015 and 2013.
