Sustainable Human Resource Management

Managing human resources in sustainable way requires a great deal of knowledge and skills and HR Managers and relevant professionals must know environmental, social, and economic aspects of managing people at work so that they can significantly and positively contribute to environmental, social, and economic performance of the organizations. The objective of this book is to provide a systematic and rational understanding of Sustainable HRM based on a model developed by the author, both conceptual understanding and application-oriented understanding to the reader. Prof. Dr. HHDNP Opatha, a Litterarum Doctor, is the first Professor of HRM (on Merit) in Sri Lanka. He is indeed an erudite scholar,a distinguished author, and an exponent of HRM. He has now 33 years of experience in active teaching for thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students in addition to training many industry personnel.
