The sustainable consumption of resources is at the heart of most strategies to address climate change. Servitization towards sustainable smart product-service systems is one of the central means of coping with the paradox of sustainable growth. This book provides a comprehensive exploration of product-service systems (PSS), which offer a more efficient sharing-based service business model, and particularly the role of digital innovation to create more sustainable PSS models.

There is a need for increased knowledge regarding the content and process of servitization towards sustainable smart product-service systems.
