Sustainable Tribal Development

Traditional Tribal Economy is one of the major obstacle in improving the livelihood of tribal people. In order to change the existing miserable situation of tribal, efforts from state and civil societies being vital importance. The present book throw light on efforts made by Pune based NGO, BAIF to facilitate the Sustainable Tribal Livelihood resources in tribal populous states in India. It has been made description in the book that BAIF has holistically encompass alternate land use opportunities but also a more comprehensive farming system approach with the tribal communities.
