Sustainable Urban Planning and Methodology

This book contains applied researches in quantitative urban planning. It consists of Nine chapters dealing mainly with sustainable planning issues and employ planning methods particularly Space Syntax analysis, Geographic Information System and planning models such as; Regression models, Gravity and Optimizing models. The majority of these researches were originally summaries of Master's Theses in urban planning done at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and the German Jordanian University under the author's supervision with other co-supervisors.

Dr. Imad Al-Hashimi holds BSc. In Architecture (Baghdad), MA. (Sheffield) and PhD. (Manchester) in Urban and Regional Planning. He is full Professor formerly worked at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and the German Jordanian University. He is also a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI rtd) and author of Three books.
