Symbolic analysis are the philosophy which can be used to analyze electronic circuits in the form of transfer function such as voltage transfer function , current transfer function, input impedance,output impedance, etc. This book has many analysis examples which can be used to illustrate the idea of novel circuits in communication electronics such as cmos cross couple oscillator in the form of input impedance and feedback analysis, two stage operational amplifier with series inductance and resistance. CMOS distributed amplifier based on modified complementary regulated cascade amplifier based. Many analysis examples of transimpedance amplifier. MATLAB can be used to plot graph which are related with many types of transfer function such as input and output impedance , voltage gain, current gain from symbolic formulas. They are plotted by using level 1 0.5 micron CMOS transistor model. More complex transistor model called BSIM3V3 can be debugged and used to plot more accurate graphs which can improve accuracy of small signal parameters and dc operating point of the transistor such as drain to source conductances and transconductance of the transistors.
