Synthesis and Anti-Parkinson's activity of some novel 2-azetidinones

2-azetidinones are extremely versatile and has featured in a number of clinically used drugs and has been studied extensively because of their ready accessibility, diverse chemical reactivity and broad spectrum of biological activity. This prompted us to develop a simple synthetic method to synthesize some novel 2-azetidinone derivatives. Hence, this book provides information about the synthesis, characterization, in vitro and in vivo anti-Parkinson s screening of the synthesized 2-azetidinone derivatives.
