Synthesis and Antimicrobial Actvity of 1,4-Dihydropyridines'

Synthesis of newer biological active compounds especially antimicrobial agents are now a day s very important task for researcher because day by day microbes are developing their resistant power against particular drugs. Out of so many drugs molecule 1,4-dihydropyridines contain moderate to excellent activity against micro organism. So by keeping in focus in this book some newer 1,4-Dihydro pyridines are synthesized, characterised and their antimicrobial activity is given. By showing the result It is concluded that some of the synthesized derivatives of pyridine contain excellent activity compare to standard drug and also in this work some newer chemical intermediates are synthesized by using simple and conventional method which will be helpful to the research scholar for synthesizing other heterocyclic compounds
