Synthesis and biogenesis of Natural Products

The present book is written for the postgraduate students of organic chemistry. The natural product is a vast area of research hence the basic knowledge is mandatory for the undergraduate students before they take up the research assignments. The content of the book is written in simple language to suit the requirements of students. The synthesis and biogenesis of important natural products are discussed and reaction mechanisms are explained wherever necessary. I hope that this book is going to be highly useful for the organic chemistry students and faculty members.

Author has compleated his education from University of Pune. He has done his Ph.D. from National Chemical Laboratory. He has qualified NET and was JRF and SRF of CSIR. He is working as Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry and teaching for last 18 years. He is Life member of MES, Vice Princiapal and research guide at Nowrosjee Wadia College.
