Schiff base serve as a back bone for the synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds having a versatile use and a wide range of application such as anti-malarial, antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, antimicrobial, antitubercular, anti-inflammatory, anti, antitumor antimitotic and antihyperlipidemic activity.Nitrogen containing heterocyclic ring such as pyrimidine is a promising structural moiety for drug design. Pyrrole-2-ones derivatives form a component in a number of useful drugs and are associated with many biological and therapeutical activities.
