This books presents the research work of the author, in which he/she infer that solar cell, which are of crucial importance today, have a challenging efficiency which needs to be improved. Solar cell applications which uses CIGS, CZTS etc., for the P-type layer instead of Silicon are found to be rare earth material and expensive. Whereas CuSbS2 is could be used to replace these materials as P-type layer in solar cell application since it is abundant and less expensive. Research is underway to improve the efficiency of the solar cells using CuSbS2 P-type layer. Investigating CuSbS2 in the form of nanopowder may provide a good solution.

Autorentext

The Author Dhivya R is a graduate in Physics with post graduation in Applied Electronics from National Institute of Technology, Trichy. She did her M.Phil from St. Joseph's College Trichy. Dhivya has a teaching experience of nearly 10 years teaching for engineering and science students. Dr Poonguzhali V and Dr Razad P M have co authored this book.
