Details

This is my first book on medicinal chemistry which comprises designing, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of heterocyclic molecules. Inflammation with pain is a major problem associated with most of the patients . Nowadays, COX-2 inhibitors are mostly prescribed medications to cure patients. However, development needs to minimize several side effects of the drug. This book emphasis on the development of anti-inflammatory drugs for the purpose of medicinal applications. Anti-inflammatory activity evaluation shows very positive results for few heterocyclic molecules. The findings are published in reputed international journals of medicinal chemistry. Most of the molecules have been synthesized by developing simple and highly efficient methods. The synthesized molecules are also evaluated for their anti-microbial activities. A few of them have displayed very positive results against the microbes. I hope, this book will be highly useful for the new researchers to carry out their research work.
