This book is associated with practical work of my research during Ph.D. This book also contains some applications from recent research articles and literature survey. The book characterizes the framework consisting of chapters preceded by the Index, List of abbreviations and general introduction. The following chapters are basically explaining the discussion of the preferred C-C bond formation and C-N bond formation controlled by participation of one or more functional groups. Many aspects of organic reactions are discussed in relation with the Heterocycles in drug discovery, Introduction to thiophene, pyrimidine and thienopyrimidines, their biological properties, their preparation, Current research work, Result and discussion, Biological evaluation, Conclusion, Experimental section and characterization of some synthetic compounds. The final chapters explain the topics such as heterocyclic structures, rearrangement reactions, synthesis of complex biologically active compounds. The author expect this book to contribute for Ph.D. scholars and for the students of UG level and PG level.
