At the current, 65 percent of the total volume of ionites produced worldwide is used for obtaining purified and desalinated water used in thermal and nuclear power plants, chemical production of hundreds of forms, radio engineering and electrical engineering industry, machinery and utility industry, and for water purification. The use of complex-forming sorbents containing sulfur and phosphorus in various industries is important for the implementation of production processes based on modern waste-free technologies. In the world, scientific-research works directed at the synthesis of complex-forming sorbents and the sorption of metals from complex solutions with their help are being carried out. In this regard, the synthesis of complex forming sorbents containing nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, their physicochemical properties, the sorption capacity of sorbents in dynamic and static conditions, the influence of various factors on sorption-desorption processes, the purification of technological solutions from heavy and toxic metal ions, complex special attention is paid to extracting metals from solutions, selective separation of metals in the form of complex compounds.
