Synthesis of Heterocyclic Derivatives

Since, 1,3,4-oxdiazole and 1,2,4-triazole derivatives are the most widely utilized heterocyclic moities, both biologically active and industrially useful, thus, the aim of this work is: Firstly, to synthesis a new series of 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-oxadiazoles and substituted 1,2,4-triazoles. Secondly, to investigate the liquid crystalline properties and biological activity of the synthesized series.
