Synthesis of some novel biologically potent heterocycles

Nitrogen and sulfur containing heterocycles play an important role, not only for life science, but also in many other industrial fields related to special and fine chemistry. These compounds have received considerable attention due to the wide range of pharmacological activities. The present work entitled Synthesis, of novel potent nitrogen/sulphur containing heterocycles illustrate the synthesis of libraries of chalcones, chromones, pyrazolines, pyrazoles, isoxazolines, 1,5 benzothiazepines, Schiff's bases, -aminophosphonates, thiazolidin-4-ones, and 1,3-diketones etc. incorporated with pyridine, thiophene and isoxazole moieties.
