Synthesis of Thiadiazole & Dithiazole Derivatives: A Review

The present wok highlights the synthesis and biological activities associated with the heterocyclic compounds having 1, 2, 4 Thiadiazole and 1, 2, 4 Dithiazole moieties and consists of the various synthetic strategies adopted in the synthesis of 1, 2, 4 Thiadiazole and 1, 2, 4 Dithiazole derivatives from the corresponding thiobiurets and dithiobiurets respectively including a bird s eye view of their different biological applications.

Dr.Abhay Kumar Choubey is presently working as Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Raebareli,India. He has got his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology(BHU)and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Magadh University, India. He has several research publications.
