Synthesis & Biological Evaluation Of Some New Pyridazinone Derivatives
Details
Heterocyclic compounds are enormous, their chemistry is complex yet interesting and various synthetic procedures have been developed resulting in diverse ring formations. The heterocyclic compounds are having immense importance biologically, hence stimulated considerable research work in recent years leading to medicinal utility. The present study deals with synthesis of some new heterocyclic pyridazinone , 2-(4-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-6-aryl-4,5dihydro-(2H)-pyridazin-3-one, (P-1 to P-17) were synthesized by condensation of appropriate beta-aroylpropionic acids (VI) and 4-Methanesulfonyl-phenylhydrazine (III) and their spectral characterization by means of IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR and In view of varied biological and pharmacological importance of different series of pyridazinone derivatives, were tested for antibacterial, antifungal activity ,anti-inflammatory activity and in-vitro anti-cancer activity.
