Systematization of the Community Management Project

This reflection responds to the actions undertaken in the framework of the project Community Management for the productive strengthening of Marine Areas of Responsible Fishing (AMPR) in the Gulf of Nicoya, part of the Coastal Interdisciplinary Program of the National University of Costa Rica, which covers the period from 2016 to 2019.The main objective of the project is to generate a productive diversification proposal for the population linked to the Marine Areas of Responsible Fishing (AMPR) of various coastal communities in the Gulf of Nicoya, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. This in order to contribute to reduce dependence on fishing and improve the economic condition of coastal communities.
