Syzygium aqueum: The Edible Plant for Management of Diabetes Mellitus

How to manage diabetes mellitus? By allopathy or naturopathy? Yes it is well proven that natural medicine could be an alternative to modern medicine to treat diabetes and its complication, with minimal adverse effect. Syzygium aqueum leaves could be one of the best choice as natural supplement to bring down the blood glucose level and to boost up the antioxidant level in our body. This plant extract is devoid of toxic risk and the elemental content in the extract was far below the permissible level for neutraceutical. Hence, it has a great potential to be develop as antidiabetic agent in neutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries for management of diabetes mellitus.
