Taguchi Approach

Industries across the world are struggling to overcome the problem of rejection rate. By reducing rejection rate and optimally utilization of machines in regulated working conditions, we can not only be able to produce good quality products but can also reduce the cost significantly. The book aims at giving a clear, comprehensive and critical study on the "Taguchi's Approach". This approach allows the set of the necessary data to determine factors that affect product quality with a minimum number of experiments. These days number of books on the subject is available but difficult to find the book in which topic has been explained keeping practical feasibility in view. This book will be useful because a clear and accurate explanation on the implementation of Taguchi Method in Machining industries to determine significant factors those affect the quality of the product, is demonstrated. This book contains four chapters covering essential text. Each chapter logically represents the basic concepts and principles. The book aims to be useful to students of engineering diploma, degree, post graduate and Ph.D as well as working personnel in industry.
