Taking Root: Effective Methods for Active Forest Regeneration

How do we combat the alarming rate of deforestation in the cloud forest? The cloud forest has the highest beta diversity in the world, and action is urgently needed restore these habitats. How can farmers manage their land responsibly? Many areas of clear-cut forest are left unused and natural forest regeneration is unsuccessful. This research explores techniques that can be implemented on abandoned pastureland to encourage native regeneration.
