Teacher Education in the 21st Century - Geography Education Research

Our research evolution based on similar research Esteves (2012) indicates - idea of helping to shape the Serbian citizen of the XXI Century that should also be a European and Global citizen involves the development of some Geographical Skills such as: (1) Describing the natural and Human environment, building mental maps; (2) Using different scales of analyses to study phenomena; (3) Describe, understand and compare spatial patterns of phenomena; (4) Read, understand and critically analyze geographical information; (5) Develop the sense of territorial, cultural and regional identity; (6) This has been the task of Geography teachers since the implementation of the new Geography syllabus.

Goran Rajovi nasce em Berane 1969 (Montenegro). Por educação é professor de história e doutor em ciências geográficas. Faz parte da equipa científica responsável pelo laboratório de formação profissional e pedagógica no International Network Center for Fundamental and Applied Research (EUA).
