Teacher Leadership Enacted

This book discusses teacher leadership by exploring the roles and experiences of two Islamiyat teachers in a private school of Karachi, Pakistan. Based on interviews and observations the findings of a qualitative case study depict that multiple leadership roles are played by teachers at the school level. The book highlights the leadership roles of Islamiyat which is a compulsory subjectt and aimed at teaching the faith and ethics of Islam in Pakistani schools. it is in this context the book is of first of its kind in the field. The ideas and findings discussed in the book can offer interesting concepts related to educational leadership in general and teacher leadership and subject leadership in particular.
