Students' interest in physics seems to be decreasingat all levels of education in most countriesincluding Thailand. This problem is likely to beinfluenced by physics teaching and learningprocesses. Instructors' beliefs influence teachingstrategies whereas students' beliefs, goals andmotivation influence learning strategies. Theinvestigation of factors influencing teaching andlearning will provide useful information forimproving the teaching and learning of physics.
