Teaching FL to young learners in Uzbekistan
Details
In 1991, when Uzbekistan gained independence from the Soviet Union, much attention was paid to reforms in the field of education, especially in the field of teaching and learning foreign languages.Following a presidential decree in 2012, it was decided to develop and implement a completely new concept of teaching English to young students.Children start learning foreign languages at different ages and in different circumstances. Therefore, first of all, it is necessary to distinguish age differences in the definition of YL.Because there is a difference between what children at the age of six can do and what children at the age of eleven can do.When planning and implementing the goals, content and methods of early learning of a foreign language, the teacher must always take into account the needs of the child. Teachers should have a warm and playful attitude that positively influences children's interest or learning. This book offers recommendations for teaching foreign languages to children at primary school age.
