There is widespread discontent with the performance of IT business projects. Almost all companies have had significant project failures as a result of poor team performance. This book is for managers to increase their capacity to lead successful projects whereby the customer will rave about the project, long after it is finished. The study used the analytic hierarchy process to identify the team building activities critical for project success from the ever growing list of academic literature on project teams. Confirmation of the study results was achieved by interviewing senior project managers with over 500 years of project management experience. Autorentext

Dr Andrew Guiney has over 30 years IT project management experience. His qualifications include: Master of Business IT and Doctorate Business Administration, from which this book was derived. His worked at Accenture, Deloitte and SMS Management and Technology has required him to manage global project teams with up to a 1000 people involved.
