Empirically, debates on the exact impact of telecommunication and teledensity on the economic growth in Nigeria is inconclusiveness with mixed outcome. Yet increase in telecommunication and teledensity is not commensurate with level of economic growth. Thus, this called for empirical research. The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of telecommunication and teledensity on economic growth in Nigeria between 1980 and 2018. Econometric technique of Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model and Generalized Linear Model was employed to analyze the time series data sourced from World Bank Development Indicators, 2018 The finding of this study show that telecommunication has positive but insignificant impact on economic growth in Nigeria while, teledensity has positive and significant impact on economic growth in Nigeria. In terms of magnititude one percent increase in telecommunication and teledensity result to 3% and 7% respectively changes in economic growth. Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations are suggested: policy formulation and implementation that will monitor and enforcing total compliance of telecommunication industry to increase their
