This book describes temporal separation of damage events during high temperature stress in photosynthetic apparatus. This includes various events such as disassembly of Mn-clock, damage of photosystem II, unstacking of grana, oxidation of photosystem I and reduction of tyrosine D in dark. Also, the effect of heat stress on chloride binding sites, the site of activation and the site of structural stability in oxygen evolving complex is thoroughly discussed. This book is an outcome of several years' research work conducted by author himself.

Arjun Tiwari is a postdoctoral researcher in Turku University, Finland. He received his Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India, for work related to biophysical and biochemical characterization of high temperature stress in photosynthetic apparatus.
