Temporal characteristics of rainfall and influence on river discharge

The relationship between rainfall and river discharge in Luvuvhu River Catchment was investigated, including their time series analysis to determine their temporal fluctuations, lead relationship, and extreme events such as floods and droughts. This investigation revealed the existence of a strong positive correlation and a statistically significant relationship between rainfall and river discharge with a short memory lapse of 5 days.
