Tensile & Tearing Strength Test Of Different Weave Structures

Tensile Strength and Tearing Strength are two of the most important factors when the Strength of woven fabric is considered.Woven Fabric strength can be varied depending on different weaves. In this work those factors has considered and compared with each other. Basic weave for example Plain Weave. Matt Weave, Diamond Weave, Sateen Weave and Twill Weave had been taken to the test as these are the mostly used.For Tensile Strength American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Grab Test & Strip Test has used, and same in the way for the Tearing Test ASTM Methods were used.
