High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Terry Scott Szopinski (born March 28, 1962) is an American professional wrestler, best known by his ring name The Warlord. Szopinski started wrestling as The Warlord in 1986 for the National Wrestling Alliance's Jim Crockett Promotions, after being encouraged by the Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) to get involved with professional wrestling.' He was managed by Baby Doll and was presented to fans as her protection against Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers. However, Szopinski was so inexperienced that he had only a couple of confrontations with the two before Bubba (kayfabe) knocked him out with a roll of quarters. Jim Crockett, Jr. then sent him to the Kansas City territory for more seasoning.
