Implant supported Overdentures are a type of prosthodontic treatment modality which connects the removable denture to the underlying dental implants. A specialized mechanism exists that engages the dentures to lock them securely in place providing added retention. It is different from traditional dentures, which rests directly on the residual alveolar ridge, on the other hand implant supported over denture has matrix part which is attached in the implant and the patrix part which attaches in the denture, Literature on implant supported Overdenture needs to be updated by adding new advanced technique of the same.
