Details
In this study, the last changes in the Civil Law which ensure gender equality will be assessed. The provisions brought by the law aimed at ensuring gender equality within the family institution. The family, the accepted main form of coexistence of men and woman, is an age and gender-based hierarchical formation. The family is a place in what there is gender-based division of labor between women and men and, the division is reborn and re-produced. In the familyi the main task of women are household work, child and elderly care. The gender-based division of labor in society puts women in a dependent and secondary position, which prevents their material and spiritual enhancement. The main objectives of the law are the removal of women's dependency upon men, strengthening the economic status of women and making them equal.
