The Adoption of DevOps Management Culture in a Public Hospital

This study aimed to analyze the technologies and tools of the DevOps world, understanding their importance in adopting a DevOps culture in the management of an IT sector in a public hospital, and evaluating the results obtained in a real scenario. Among the authors researched for the conceptual constitution of this work were HTTERMANN, M. (2012), FOWLER, M. (2006), PEREIRA, J. A. D. (2013), CALLANAN, M. (2016) and FARLEY, D. (2012). The methodology used was explanatory research, with a bibliographic survey and an experience report as data collection. The most relevant conclusion is that by adopting the DevOps culture and using the right tools, it is possible to obtain positive results, professionalizing and modernizing an organization's IT sector.
