Increased demands for high quality living standard has led to rapid development of technologies for manufacturing of individual parts and systems which automatically triggered demand of new manufacturing processes, machineries and tooling. This book is intended to share of the current or at present technologies of manufacturing acquired from the Manufacturing Focus Group experts at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang. The book consists of breakthrough research and technologies in the fields of forming/micro-forming processes, advanced generic optimization method used to establish parametric analyses, casting and semi solid material processing technologies and tool deterioration studies. The book is meant to create interest to the young researchers and higher degree students about the recent technology practiced at the institution. This at the same time hoped to inspire young generation to get to know, love science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Autorentext
Dr Akhtar Razul Razali, a certified Professional Engineer; is a head of the Manufacturing Focus Group at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, has been involved in a couple of research projects in several EU-funded, international and national projects. A reviewer and author of more than 55 journals and conference papers, 26 deliverable technical reports.
