The Affirmative Action; Wounds That Will Not Heal

This book presents a history of the controversy of the topic. Two scholars discuss public policy issues relating to social justice in the late 20th century. Each begins by making a case for or against affirmative action, laying out the major arguments on both sides. Each author then responds to the other's essay, a chronology of key events, a listing of organizations and agencies, and an annotated bibliography of sources.

Mr. Stephen W. Makau is a lawyer by profession. He holds a Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) from Moi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (KSL), a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from the University of Dar Es Salaam. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
