The Autobiographical Elements in the Novels of M.V.Ramasarma: A Study

Autobiography as a form of art has not gained enough importance.Whatever literature on autobiographies is available in a library, it is usually found under the heading biography. In an autobiography the writer's expression of his personality, in a candid fashion is usually taken in the right spirit. Moreover, elements like candidness, objectivity, lucidity, humility etc., are appreciated in an autobiography. The following features are mostly searched in an autobiography. Truth should be its hallmark Courage and frankness are its essential featurs. He should be objective in dealing with contemporary events and personalities., the author should not be always verbose in his description or narration. Mostly the writers like Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi are known for their autobiographical works.
